Our Workshops and Events

Our first event will bring together elders and youth for a three day interactive reciprocal storytelling and legacy conference, scheduled for early Summer of 2020.

Prior to the event, our young people (up to 10, male or female, middle school through college age) will be trained to work as researchers, technologists, transcribers, and interview specialists. 

During the event our young people will use their newly gained skills to interview and record, research and transcribe, and preserve the Elders stories in video format. Then our Elders will interview the young people supported by our youth auxiliary cadre’s expertise to assist in the research, recording, transcribing, and preservation of their modern day experiences in their stories.

 There will be a short story Elders VS Youth storytelling presentation banquet finale to conclude the event.
